It's an amazing soft sponge to clean away dirt and oil from skin. Especially useful for oily skin. Needs very gentle and light cleaning using this sponge (do not scrub it on the face). I didn't have any break outs on my oily skin after using this. Never use face sponge/ cleaning brush with a face scrub as it will be harsh on your skin. Use this sponge with a gentle face wash/ cleanser which doesn't have granules or beads.
